Diving is all about community and so is Seas The Day Scuba. That’s why our staff is happy to announce its participation in the 2nd Annual PADI Women’s Dive Day on July 16th. To celebrate, we’ll be hosting a beach dive and BBQ, one of hundreds of dive events being held across 65 countries and all seven continents. This worldwide special event recognizes women’s contributions to diving throughout history and provides special opportunities for more women to enter the sport of diving today. Last year’s event brought together more than 6,000 divers participating in more than 335 special events across the globe.
Now you can be a part of history in the making! Join us in Redondo Beach at Veteran’s Park (309 Esplanade) at 9:00 a.m. for a great morning beach dive. We’ll hold a short Dive Club meeting at 9:00 and we plan to hit the water at 9:30. Everyone is welcome to dive with us. (Including you men!) When you get to the parking lot, be sure to look for the Seas The Day easy-up canopy or brightly wrapped company truck.
After we have a great dive, stay on the beach with Seas The Day Scuba as we continue the fun. Join us for lunch as we host an afternoon BBQ to celebrate Women’s Dive Day. We’ll be grilling the hamburgers and providing drinks but ask everyone to please bring a side dish or snacks you’d like to share with your new dive friends.
You can RSVP on the Meet Up app, or leave us a comment on Instagram, Facebook or drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to seeing you at the beach and helping us make history!
